WebMay 23, 2024 · Glass shop called me today, they said it was leaking due to inadequate sealant. They took a picture of it to show how it was practically missing in some areas. Sure wish I knew what shop did the crappy job. I'm out $350 because of this. On the plus side, I went ahead and paid extra for the windshield with the "SUPER DUTY" on the glass. It is also possible that you did not completely fill the coolant system—for example, you may have forgotten to turn on the heat (so that coolant will go into the heater core sub-circuit).

It is leaking in front of the firewall (no evidence of a leak in the cab) at what looks like where the heater hoses connect to the heater core. Never having serviced that area (2005) I figured it had to be the o-rings in the quick connect fittings.
